The Right To Good Service

A message to the children of the parents who have allowed their children to verbally harass, incite, and tell lies to those in the public. I am speaking of people like us who are forced by you  to listen to your children using an unknown sound system these past 12 years. This message is also for those people nearer to us and who have badly influence people with their own lies.

Stop spreading lies, and telling the lie that we will accept damaged goods. You know this is not true.
We are fed up with reporting and returning damage goods and bad food because you want your lies to cause us and the sellers nothing but unnecessary trouble.

Understand this! We do not want to receive bad merchandise, be they dry goods, clothing, furniture or food. We return all such items, which is something we would not have to do if you had not gotten people to believe your lies and do such bad things.

 You are using these merchants  for your own purposes, and you do not bother to tell them, be they online or local, that should they sell us bad goods that we will not only return them but that I write product reviews warning people of bad merchandise and the businesses that sells it..

So stop with this nonsense. One of your most recent lies has already and literally made us so food sick that we had to seek treatment. So Stop. We are entitled to good service as well as good merchandise like everyone else.

So again, stop with all these lies. You don’t see us making any effort to enter your lives. So stay out of our lives.

A Consumer’s Alert Follow-Up! The Fight To Protest Personal Privacy Is Still An Uphill Battle

On Tuesday, December 31, 2013 I wrote a consumer’s alert entitled, SCAM ALERT! Insurance Race Crimes, which informed my readers of the phone numbers of insurance scammers, so-called automated debt collectors, harassers, and just plain old malicious and unwanted callers who repeatedly call.

In addition, since originally posting that alert, the list of phone numbers has grown.  All of these callers are blocked including their extension numbers. If the calls are from individual persons seeking to harass the person that they are calling, their landlines and cell phone numbers are blocked and reported as well.

What I have also discovered since posting that first alert is that

1.      instead of using their personal phone, a individual scammer or malicious caller will try to hide their identity behind their workplace by using the company’s phone, and

2.       a group of scammers will use business names that look and sound similar to well known and respected businesses.  

My original advice still stands.  You have every right to your personal privacy that is free from harassers and callers with malicious intent.  So protect yourselves. Continue to report and block these callers.

A special message for residents of St. Petersburg, Florida, our local police department now has a program called Eagle Eye. 

The program’s summary according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

“Eagle Eye. is an SPPD initiative to enlist the help of community members in the fight against crime. Citizen-provided security camera footage is increasingly becoming an invaluable asset to SPPD, helping establish leads and identify suspects. By voluntarily registering your contact information with SPPD through this site, detectives will know how to reach you if a crime occurs in the vicinity of your property.”

I strongly suggest registering your security cameras in the Eagle Eye program. It may not only help you and your family when needed but your neighbor as well.

What's a Robocall?

 

If you answer the phone and hear a recorded message instead of a live person, it's a robocall.
You've probably gotten robocalls about candidates running for office, or charities asking for donations. These robocalls are allowed. But if the recording is a sales message and you haven't given your written permission to get calls from the company on the other end, the call is illegal. In addition to the phone calls being illegal, their pitch most likely is a scam.

What's the Reason for the Spike in Robocalls?

Technology is the answer. Companies are using autodialers that can send out thousands of phone calls every minute for an incredibly low cost. The companies that use this technology don't bother to screen for numbers on the national Do Not Call Registry. If a company doesn't care about obeying the law, you can be sure they're trying to scam you.

What's the FTC Doing About Robocalls?

 

Duing the last few years, the FTC has stopped billions of robocalls that offer everything from fraudulent credit card services and so-called auto warranty protection to home security systems and grant procurement programs. Tracing these calls is a tough job:

Many different companies use the same or very similar recorded messages.

Robocallers fake the caller ID information that you see on your phone. That's called caller ID spoofing — and new technology makes it very easy to do. In some cases, the fraudulent telemarketer may want you to think the call is from your bank, or another entity you've done business with. Sometimes, the telephone number may show up as "unknown" or "123456789." Other times, the number is a real one belonging to someone who has no idea his or her number is being misused.
Robocallers often place the calls through internet technology that hides their location.

What Should You Do If You Get a Robocall?

If you get a robocall:

• Hang up the phone. Don't press 1 to speak to a live operator and don't press any other number to get your number off the list. If you respond by pressing any number, it will probably just lead to more robocalls.
•  
• Consider contacting your phone provider and asking them to block the number, and whether they charge for that service. Remember that telemarketers change Caller ID information easily and often, so it might not be worth paying a fee to block a number that will change.
•  
• Report your experience to the FTC online at or by calling 1-888-382-1222.

What Prerecorded Calls Are Allowed?

 

Some prerecorded messages are permitted — for example, messages that are purely informational. That means you may receive calls to let you know your flight’s been cancelled, reminders about an appointment, or messages about a delayed school opening. But the business doing the calling isn’t allowed to promote the sale of any goods or services. Prerecorded messages from a business that is contacting you to collect a debt also are permitted, but messages offering to sell you services to reduce your debt are barred.

Other exceptions include political calls and calls from certain health care providers. For example, pharmacies are permitted to use prerecorded messages to provide prescription refill reminders. Prerecorded messages from banks, telephone carriers and charities also are exempt from these rules if the banks, carriers or charities make the calls themselves.

More Trouble People

I sent the following complaint to PSTA, and since that day a woman of similar features of the abusive man described in the complaint below had been attempting to cause me trouble at one of the Walmart store where I shop. 

Like the man, she is a young white woman, petite and with very dark shoulder length hair. This woman has teamed up with a couple overweight dark skinned Afro-American women. I believe these women are the mothers of or may know the two dark skinned Afro-American women teenage girls who were attempting to threaten a white neighbor of mine last year. I defended my neighbor, but the two girls never let the matter go at that, and in turned told their parents and friends God’s know what so that now the situation has blown out of proportion. 

As for the abusive man on the bus, the woman that comes in the store is getting her information from these black women. I know that there was someone who knows them and the other troublemakers in our area on the bus the day that this man was being abusive. 

I believe the man to be very abusive and this woman is probably a member of his family and that both of them are very unbalance people who have team up with even more unbalance people.

In addition, as I know that these people read these pages, I want them to know that I and my husband are here to stay, and you have aligned yourselves with the  devil.

I nearly forgot, there was another white woman also a few weeks ago. She was heavyset and looking to be in the medical field, perhaps a nurse. She and another woman were with two biracial teenage girls, and one dark skinned teenage male. He walks pass my home on occasions. and he looks a lot look one of the teenage girl who were doing the harassing and threatening of my neighbor in last years incidents, and which means all these incidents are connected.  This woman is why "Seven Ninety Seven" had its name, and which means something good can come out of something bad.

P.S.  I never buy from street benders who carry  portable credit card machines. I am not saying that they are shady. However, I do suggest being careful out there.

On two occasions I have been verbally harassed by other passengers. The first incident occurred just before Thanksgiving 2014 on the same #5 bus route. The second occurred on Wednesday 02/04/2015. I believe these verbal attacks were planned by a woman who I have report for elderly abuse and the persons she is using are her family and friends. In the first incident, a woman shouted for me to shut-up because I and some others passengers expressed their views about certain issues. 

Wednesday's incident involved a man who was sitting on two of the wheelchair seats and he not want to move over for me to sit down. I told him I had a bad back, hips, and knee. Then he looked like he was moving over, but when I sat I realized that he still had one leg still in half of second seat. I apologized, but he screamed that I broke his arm in four places, which was untrue and I told him so. The man then jumped up and kept screaming that I broke his arm is four places and pulling his coat and shirt up to show his shoulder but he used his slinged arm and hand to do it. When I sat on his leg he may have gotten bumped. However, he lied about me breaking his arm. 

This man was very rude, and I am not shut-up and left the people who ride these buses abuse me in any way. Should I be the subject of addition verbal, or if anyone threatens to harm me in any way, I call the police on my cell phone. Although the bus drivers did nothing wrong, I will not depend on them to defend me, as I do not know what they may have been told by the harassers prior by my boarding the buses. 

The reason I believe this woman is using people who board the bus is that she knows all that happens and slyly attempts to upset me with what has happened. In addition, I believe they are doing to have or find something to counter my report of elderly abuse. However they are only making the matter worse. My community police officer is aware of this woman and some of the people is using and they have been told to stop.

To You Troublemakers In My General Area

UPDATE: As of 05/07/2015 my husband has started a round of antibiotics for the fast food illness that I had been treated at the original posting of this message. We hope he will not be on it as long as me. Although we know the evil minds behind this, we need the actual proof that they incited it. Nevertheless, this should never happen again.


This Message is only for those of you that cannot drop your acts of revenge against people who report lawbreakers like you.  I don’t have to name you because you know who you are.  

Stop with the lies, the stalking and the paranoia. If you are truly with crime prevention, then get with it and stop messing around with innocent people like my husband and myself. If you are using crime prevention as a way to continue causing trouble among the other residents of the community, then know your actions are noted.

Now, some of you who would like others to think that you are looking out for the community, however, I know you to be the very troublemakers that have been reported to our local CP and the Police Department.  Therefore, that sign on your lawn stating that you are members of crime prevention is meaningless.

In addition, you are the reason some of us now install security cameras. Don’t doubt it because it is true. The cameras would not exist had it not been for your constant harassment. You want to continue your harassment unnoticed and unchecked.  We understand you resent the cameras. Too bad. They are in use to record the crimes of anyone, man, woman, or child who breaks the law in our area. We are not watching your every move or those of your children. So stop with the lies. Like I have stated before, these cameras are to catch the dishonest among us who interfere in our lives uninvited.

We do not apologize for their presence. To do so would be saying we do not mind what you have done to us, and what you are still trying to do to us. We mind very much, and we want you to stop.  It is your dishonest actions that are the reason for the cameras.

We wish it was not true. In fact, we loath having the  need for the cameras but you provide the need with such actions as stealing mail, packages, stalking locally and online, and messing with people that prepare our fast foods. To the latter, I am on my second round of antibiotics because someone evil said something to a cook who in turn sold us bad food. The cook is forgiven. You are not.  

As I stated at the start, this message is for those troublemakers who cannot desist in the harassments they do and lies they tell that is hurting this community. Should anyone other than them take offense to what is written here, I cannot apologize as the truth (and not the twisted tales of the troublemakers must be known to all?
