Rubio is correct. The Republicans image was first hurt when many of their most promising candidates bailed during the 2008 campaign. During this 2012 campaign, Mitt Rommey's candied and unguarded negative remarks about the minorities and the middle class did more damage. If the Republicans ever return to presidential power, it will be because they have cleansed their party of all potential candidates that do not see America’s minorities , low income, and its middle class as the backbone of big business as well as this nation, and therefore, should be recognized as a strong and worthy part of political machine.
With the Republicans in control of Congress this image cleansing would make a starting place.
