The St. Petersburg Police Department And RAIDS Online

I just added the  RAIDS Online link, which is a community awareness service that the St. Petersburg Police Department is now using to "enhance the department's partnership with the local community". Below is the detailed description of how RAIDS Online and the  St. Petersburg Police Department can benefit the city's communities by informing citizens of crimes in their areas and assisting in reducing crime.

The St. Petersburg Police Department has partnered with BAIR Analytics and Citizen Observer to enhance the Department's partnership with the local community. BAIR Analytics' RAIDS Online public crime map will display calls for service activity and provide a web link to Citizen Observer's tip411 online anonymous tip platform. Seamlessly integrated, both platforms will enhance the user online experience by providing more timely information as it relates to calls for service, while simultaneously, displaying an integrated link to the anonymous tip platform. Ultimately, the Department is confident this exchange of information will promote transparency, reciprocity and contribute favorably to crime reduction.- St. Petersburg Police Department

The previous crime alert website, Crime Report, is no longer in use by the  St. Petersburg Police Department. However, other Pinellas County's cities still use it.
